Bright and clean laundry with 1 cure-all solution! And it’s cheap as well!

Simple, cheap, and multifunctional.

This is one of those proper grandmother’s tips. A tried and true trick that works surprisingly well, but one that very few people know of or apply in daily life. Despite it working so well! If you wash your laundry together with this natural product, you’re guaranteed to get some fresh, sweet-scented and soft laundry out your washing machine!

The great thing about this tip is that it doesn’t just clean your laundry, but your washing machine all the same!

Vinegar

For starters: pour your regular laundry detergent in the washing machine and add a good dash of vinegar. This will amplify the effectiveness of the regular detergent. Are you in need of something a little stronger? Give your clothing a good soak in a mixture of 125 millilitres of vinegar with water. And voilà: enjoy your clean, non-vinegar-scented laundry!

1. Sweat and deodorant stains

It’s such a shame, having to throw out clothes after a while as discolourations form around the arm pits that you can’t get out with regular detergent. Vinegar will do the trick!

2. Fabric Softener

Make sure to pour a little white vinegar in your washing machine’s fabric softener tray. It’ll make your laundry incredibly soft and is non-hazardous for the environment.

3. Retaining colour

Douse your clothing with approximately 125 millilitres of vinegar before putting it in the machine. This’ll help against fading colours and will remove excess soap from the fabric.

4. Tougher stains

Fill a bucket with water and add a cup of vinegar. Let any clothing with persistent stains soak for about an hour. Afterwards, include it in your regular laundry cycle.

5. Statically charged clothing

Wool sweaters and fleece blankets may be lovely, but oftentimes they’ll get statically charged. Using vinegar when washing these will get rid of the problem in no time. Try it!
