The kiwi: a green fruit with a weird, hairy, brown skin around it. It’s a delicious fruit and super healthy as well! Kiwis are full of vitamins, especially vitamin C, and they also contain a lot of potassium. But do you want to get the most out of the fruit? Then you should eat the skin as well.

But how do you eat the skin?

The fruit of the kiwi is very healthy, but its skin is very good for you as well. It’s full of fibers, which helps with your digestion and has a positive effect on your cholesterol. Eating that hairy skin won’t sound appealing to most people, because it doesn’t exactly taste nice. So how do you make sure it’s at least somewhat nice to eat? Brush the hairs off the skin and thoroughly rinse the kiwi under water. You can also cut up the kiwi with its skin still around it and add the pieces to a smoothie.
