Are your hands starting to look older? These are the reasons why

Doing the dishes

Do you have a dishwasher? No? Then you probably can’t escape doing the dishes yourself. Unfortunately, detergent also causes the skin on your hands to dry out. Doing the dishes with rubber gloves on is a good solution to spare your hands from getting all wrinkly in the water. You’ll probably feel like a diva when you’re doing the dishes with rubber gloves on but your hands will be grateful. That’s what it’s all about right?

Washing your hands

According to the dermatologist, it is sensible to wash your hands with PH neutral soap. You’re probably using ‘standard’ soap right now, which causes your hands to get really dry. So the next time you buy soap, check the packaging well because it tells you the soap’s PH value. PH neutral soap will clean your hands just as good as the soap you’re using now, but it will make your skin less dry. Great!

Sunscreen

We all know that we need to put sunscreen on our legs and arms when the sun is out and burning, but we often forget to include our hands. When you’re out and about, your hands are most exposed to the sun together with your face. If you forget to put sunscreen on, your hands will look older much quicker. So the next time you go shopping, do remember to include your hands when you put on sunscreen.
