It’s a very handy thing to have around both for cleaning purposes and for your health. It can be a little difficult to dose, though, since it always comes in a large box. Luckily, there’s a solution to that problem now!
Using a salt shaker solves the problem!

Baking soda works great as a scouring agent for cleaning tiles, sinks, showers and bath tubs. Flowers stay fresh for much longer if you add a little baking soda to their water. Dirty smells are no match for the powder either: a bowl of baking soda in the place where the nasty smells arise will work wonders. Right, so we’ve established that baking soda is a very useful product to have around. But how do you manage to get the right amount of powder from that big box?

Of course, you could just shake some of the powder directly out of the box, but then you’ll run a pretty high risk of dumping half the box on the surface you want to clean instead of the couple of sprinkles you actually need. You could use a spoon instead, of course, but you know what’s much handier and easier? Putting the baking soda into a salt shaker. This way, you’ll be able to perfectly regulate the amount of baking soda you sprinkle onto an object you want to clean. Since baking soda can start to clump together when it gets damp, it is important to store the shaker in a dry spot.
