Women who are pregnant are often advised to sleep on their left side. Why? If you sleep on your right side, your uterus presses against your liver (which can be found on the right side of your body).

It helps your lymph nodes

Even your lymph nodes benefit from you sleeping on your left. This helps your body filter liquids through your body more quickly. Sleep on your right side? This could make your lymph nodes work more slowly.
