One Room for Work and Music
A dedicated office and music room is a genuine luxury in a compact home. Kerry and Will did not squeeze a laptop onto the dining counter or tuck an instrument beside the bed. They reserved a separate area for focused work and creative time, acknowledging that a home needs to support interests as well as basic chores. That decision helps the cabin serve everyday life without feeling overfilled.
Combining the two purposes makes good sense. Office work generally needs a desk, a comfortable seat, storage, and some quiet, while music benefits from a place where equipment can remain ready to use. Sharing one room keeps both activities away from the lounge and bedroom. It also means hobbies do not have to be packed away whenever dinner begins, a small convenience that can make a huge difference over time.
Like every other part of the house, this room belongs to the same cheerful patchwork. Reused materials and secondhand pieces prevent the workspace from looking corporate, while the musical function keeps it personal.
