A full bathtub is not the feature most people expect to find in a tiny house. Showers usually win because they occupy less floor space, but Kerry and Will chose comfort over the usual rulebook. Their bathroom is a proper enclosed room rather than a token wet corner, and the tub makes it feel surprisingly generous. It is one of the clearest reasons they describe the home as their little mansion.
The cabin’s unusual width also benefits the room. Three metres may not sound enormous, but those centimetres change what can fit across the floor plan. They allow the bathroom to include familiar household fixtures without turning every movement into a careful sideways shuffle. A hallway keeps the bathroom private, while a separate composting toilet handles everyday needs without requiring a conventional sewer connection.
Elsewhere in the home, stained glass adds colour and old materials display their age proudly, giving even practical spaces a sense of personality. The bathroom belongs to that same unpolished story rather than feeling like a glossy modern insert. Its greatest trick, however, is simply refusing to apologize for taking up space. The home delivers freedom without removing comfort, including a bathtub filled with water.
