Use a Garden Bucket to Organize Your Sink
The area around the bathroom sink can become cluttered faster than almost anywhere else. Hand soap, towels and other everyday essentials tend to collect around the basin, leaving the countertop looking messy. A small metal French garden bucket can become an unexpected solution.
Start by giving the bucket a few light coats of white spray paint. Once it's dry, you can add simple decorative details with a black paint pen, including an outline around the rim and lettering on the front. For an extra touch, attach old drawer knobs to the bottom to act as little feet. Now you have a freestanding container that can sit beside the sink and hold everyday bathroom essentials.
It can be used for hand towels, paper towels, soap or other items that would otherwise be scattered across the counter. The clever part is that you're not adding another bulky storage cabinet. You're creating a single attractive container that gives loose items a designated home. Sometimes organizing a bathroom isn't about finding more places to hide things. It's simply about gathering the things you use most into one spot.
