Cleaning your sofa can really be this simple!
Even if you’re being as careful as possible, getting a few stains in your sofa is pretty much inevitable. If you have a dark coloured couch, it might be easy to ignore a small stain or two, but if the fabric on your sofa has a lighter hue, they can be a real eyesore. Luckily, there’s a very easy trick that’ll help you make it look as good as new again.
A handy trick learned from grandma.
What do you need?
Nobody likes a couch full of stains, which is why this trick from grandmother’s time is perfect to bring it back to its old look. All you need is a spray bottle, 250 milliliter lukewarm water, 50 milliliter alcohol (for example 96%), 25 milliliter acetic acid solution, 1 tablespoon soda, 1 tablespoon fabric softener.
What do you need to do?
Add all of the ingredients to the spray bottle and screw the cap on tight. Shake the bottle so all of the ingredients mix together properly. Spray the solution onto the stains on the sofa and let it sit and soak briefly. Then take out a brush with nylon hairs and properly scrub the stains with it. The last thing you do is use a cloth to wipe the sofa with and it will look as good as new!
