Mechanic Notices Truck Tire Is Unusually Heavy… Cuts It Open and Calls 911!

With the truck stop quiet again, Danny returned to his bay and stared at the heavy, bare steel rim resting on his workbench. Curiosity got the better of him. He positioned the rim under a heavy-duty rotary cutter, pulling down his face shield to slice directly into the reinforced metal well.

The high-speed blade sparked fiercely as it bit into the steel shell. As the cutter sliced open a three-inch window into the rim's internal chamber, the blade stopped against a dense, unyielding interior lining that was definitely not part of the wheel's original factory manufacture.

Danny angled a high-lumen work light into the freshly cut steel seam. Wedged tightly inside the hollow rim structure was a dense layer of black, vacuum-sealed plastic packages packed end-to-end. Realizing he was looking at heavy, concealed contraband, Danny stepped back and immediately called 911.
