Although the finished car looked remarkably authentic, what truly impressed people wasn’t simply its appearance. It was the craftsmanship hidden underneath. Unlike many replicas that rely heavily on donor cars, Ken had personally fabricated much of the vehicle himself. The chassis, aluminum bodywork, suspension layout, door mechanisms, and countless small components reflected years of patience and problem-solving.
His engineering background certainly helped, but even experienced fabricators acknowledged the incredible level of skill required to complete such a project. Building a functioning supercar is difficult. Building one almost entirely by hand is something else entirely.
Every weld, every panel, and every carefully shaped curve represented thousands upon thousands of hours of dedication.
