The project stretched far beyond weekends and spare evenings. Year after year, Ken continued refining every detail, refusing to rush any part of the build. Once the frame and drivetrain were complete, attention turned back to the body. Countless hours were spent applying filler, sanding panels, checking gaps, and reshaping surfaces until they matched the original Lamborghini as closely as possible.
Even features many people would overlook received the same obsessive treatment. The iconic scissor doors were handcrafted. The headlights fit perfectly into their housings. Every body line flowed exactly where it should. Slowly, the unfinished collection of metal panels transformed into one of the most recognizable supercars ever designed.
Nearly seventeen years after cutting the very first sheet of aluminum, the project finally appeared complete. There was just one enormous problem. The finished Lamborghini was trapped inside the basement where it had been built.
