She Never Had Kids — But DNA Test Shows She Has A Daughter!

A few days later, Molly finally got the call. The mammogram and ultrasound were clear. Nothing dangerous had been found. Molly closed her eyes and let out a breath she felt she had been holding for days. “So we’re good?” her husband asked. Molly smiled. “We’re good.” The immediate fear was over.

But one part of the experience stayed with her. Molly could not forget sitting in that room and being unable to answer the doctor’s questions. What if she had another scare years from now? What if there really was a condition running through her biological family? “I should know something,” she told her husband. “Even just a little.” He agreed.

That was when Molly decided to try a home DNA test. She was not expecting a reunion or some dramatic discovery. She wanted ancestry information, medical clues, perhaps a few distant relatives she could ask simple questions. The kit arrived, and Molly left it sitting around for a while before finally taking the sample. She sealed the tube, filled out the paperwork, and dropped the package into the mail. As it disappeared through the slot, Molly felt relieved. She had no idea what was already waiting for her.
