She Never Had Kids — But DNA Test Shows She Has A Daughter!

The tests were more serious than Molly had expected. Her doctor ordered a mammogram and an ultrasound, and suddenly the visit no longer felt routine. Molly sat in the waiting area trying not to imagine the worst. Her husband squeezed her hand. “We don’t know anything yet,” he reminded her. Molly nodded, but waiting made every possibility feel louder.

Then came the questions. A nurse looked at the form. “Any history of breast cancer in your family? Ovarian cancer? Other hereditary conditions?” Molly shook her head. “I don’t know. I was adopted.” Each time she took a new test or examination, she had to say, “I don’t know.” Each time, the words bothered her more.

The scans were completed, but Molly did not get an answer that day. She went home and tried to distract herself, yet her mind kept circling back to the same fear. If something serious was wrong, she had no idea whether it had happened to her mother, grandmother, or anyone else before her. “I hate not knowing,” she told her husband that night. He understood exactly what she meant. Now Molly had to wait anxiously for the final results to finally arrive.
