Cat Kept Bringing Home Wet Dollar Bills, Then the Owner Decided to Follow It…

Max bolted. Knowing every inch of the woods, the cat darted down his familiar game trail with the cash firmly clamped in his teeth. The courier gave chase, crashing recklessly through the thick underbrush, determined not to lose a single bill. From his hiding spot behind the tree, Richard watched in terror as the dangerous intruder chased his pet straight toward his house.

Staying parallel in the shadows of the tree line, Richard ran as fast as his legs could carry him, trying to keep pace without giving away his position. Max’s agility made him impossible to catch. The cat effortlessly glided through thorn bushes and slipped over fallen logs, leaving the heavy-footed courier swearing and thrashing behind him.

By the time Richard reached the edge of his backyard, out of breath and drenched in sweat, he saw Max slip safely through the cat flap in the rear kitchen door. But the danger was far from over. Seconds later, the courier burst out of the tree line, following the flattened trail of grass right onto Richard's patio.
