Woman Finds Strange Eggs In Attic – When Expert Sees It, She Turns Pale

Three weeks earlier, Leah had arrived at the house with two suitcases and a plan to stay only long enough to clear it. Her grandmother, Evelyn, had lived there for more than forty years. Leah had spent many school holidays there as a child. Evelyn loved birds and could identify most of them before Leah even spotted them. Feeders still hung outside the kitchen window, and shelves were packed with notebooks filled with dates and bird sightings.

One of the first people to visit after Leah arrived was Graham Cole. He lived less than a mile away and had helped Evelyn with repairs for years. When Evelyn became ill, Graham collected her mail, checked the heating, and made sure the house was secure. He still had a spare key. Leah was grateful for his help. He repaired a leaking tap, carried heavy boxes downstairs, and told her which local companies could help with the sale.

One afternoon, while they were sorting through old furniture, Graham glanced toward the ceiling. “Your grandmother never liked people going into that attic,” he said. Leah laughed and asked why. Graham shrugged. “Evelyn could be private.” At the time, Leah thought nothing of it. Now, standing in the empty hallway after someone had entered the house, she remembered those words clearly.
