Open Your Bathroom Cabinets
The bathroom might not have as much storage as the kitchen or bedroom, which makes unnecessary products even more noticeable. Start with your makeup. Old, broken or unused products can easily sit inside drawers for years. Go through everything and separate the products you regularly use from the ones you've completely forgotten about.
Travel-size toiletries are another common culprit. Keeping a few for your next trip makes sense. Keeping an entire collection of tiny bottles because you might travel someday is another matter. Then look at your nail polish, beauty products and hair tools. That bottle you bought because you loved the color but never actually wear? It may be time to let it go. The same applies to hair tools you haven't touched in years.
And while you're organizing the bathroom, check products that are past their appropriate use dates and dispose of them properly. The important thing is to avoid replacing one pile of clutter with another. Keep the products you actually use. Once you remove everything else, your bathroom cabinets may suddenly become much easier to organize — and you might finally be able to see what's hiding at the back.
