Stack Small Bins to Create a Vertical Storage Tower
Counter space disappears quickly in a small bathroom. Once you add makeup, brushes, toiletries and other everyday items, there may barely be room left to actually use the sink. Instead of spreading everything horizontally, try thinking vertically. Three small craft bins can be assembled into a compact storage tower. Mark where each bin should line up, apply adhesive and reinforce the sides so the structure stays secure.
The bins can be stacked at slightly different heights, creating several separate compartments while keeping the entire organizer relatively narrow. Once the construction is finished, you can add a coat of wood stain to give the piece a warmer, more intentional appearance. The advantage is simple: three storage areas occupy the footprint of a much smaller space on the counter.
Each bin can have its own purpose, whether that's hair accessories, skincare products, makeup or miscellaneous bathroom essentials. It's a good example of why small bathrooms often benefit from vertical organization. You don't necessarily need to find more floor or counter space. You can make better use of the space directly above what you're already storing.
