Do you want to get rid of your cellulite? These tips might help you out

Before we tell you about these tips we’d like to emphasise that these aren’t guaranteed to work. They won’t do any harm, though, so they’re definitely worth a try!

Coffee

It’s been said that skin conditions like cellulite, striae, eczema, scars and acne can be solved by scrubbing your body with a coffee-based scrub. Australian brand Frank Body has an entire line of skin care products based on coffee. Their website explains: “Just like it wakes you up from the inside, coffee can wake you up on the outside, too.” The idea is that when you apply coffee to your skin, the blood flow is stimulated which causes skin problems to disappear. Coffee also has the same pH value as your skin, which means it won’t dry out or grease up your skin. If you don’t want to spend a lot of money on a scrub that might not be worth the hype, you can also make your own mixture of coffee, sugar and olive oil. Worth a try, right?

Diet

Besides scrubbing with coffee, there are also a few diet tips that might be of help to you. The following food products are said to help reduce cellulite:

  • Yoghurt, milk and cheese
  • Raw vegetables
  • Beans
  • Rice
  • Low-fat meat like chicken, fish or beef
  • Fresh fruit

Blood flow

One last tip is to make sure you stimulate your blood flow. You can do this through regular massages and hot-and-cold showers. Exercising helps to strengthen the muscles in the problem areas. Some exercises that are said to help against cellulite are squats and lunges.
