Royals and The Crown

According to Ken Wharfe, the previous bodyguard of princess Diana and writer of the book ‘Diana – Closely Guarded Secret’, the royals actually like the popular Netflix show. Wharfe told OK!: “The royals love that stuff. They will watch it and they have no fear of that. They’re watching it to see how true it is or how untrue it is.” When it comes to Emma Corrin’s portrayal of Diana, her previous bodyguard said: “[it] was brilliant. There wasn’t a great physical likeness, but she mastered the mannerisms, her walk and her speech. But one thing’s for certain, Diana didn’t roller skate around Buckingham Palace.”

I’m nowhere near how they portray me on Netflix.” When Prince Harry appeared on James Corden’s The Late Late Show, the Duke of Sussex admitted that he has seen some episodes. He told Cordon that the show gives a little inside in royal life and “What that lifestyle, what the pressures of putting duty and service above family and everything else, what can come from that.”

Princess Eugenie said she felt proud to watch the show. According to Daily Mail, she allegedly said: “It is filmed beautifully. The music is wonderful, the story is beautiful. You feel very proud to watch it. I can’t speak for everyone but that’s how I felt when I watched it.”
