6. Car or bike rims

To remove dirt and grease from the rims of your car or bike you can just use some dishwashing detergent. Add a teaspoon of dish soap to a bucket of warm water and use an old cloth and an old toothbrush to remove the grease and dirt. Rinse with warm water and dry with a clean cloth.

7. Tools

Your tools can get pretty dirty with black grease. Clean it with some soapy water (the same kind of soapy water you would use for washing dishes). Rinse properly and dry the tools with an old tea towel.

8. Make a cold compress

You can very easily make your own cold compress using dish soap. All you need is a resealable plastic bag, 250 ml of dishwashing liquid and 60 ml of rubbing alcohol (isopropyl). Fill the plastic bag with these liquids, until it’s about three quarters of the way full. Seal the bag and place it upright in your freezer. An hour or two later you will have your own cold compress!
