Captain Adam navigated the choppy waters off the coast of Somalia, busily working at the control panel and watching the sea ahead. As he monitored the radar and checked the coordinates, he noticed a few boats on the horizon.
Unaware at first of the potential danger, Captain Adam thought the boats were ordinary Somali fishermen. But as the vessels drew closer in a coordinated fashion, his instincts signaled a warning.
“All hands on deck!” Captain Adam’s voice rang out through the ship’s intercom. The approaching boats were pirates, armed and ready for confrontation. Captain Adam knew he had to act quickly and carefully.
