Tina pressed her back against the door she had just shut. She could feel the static in the air. Her breath caught in her throat as she watched the scene unfold. One of the wolves growled, a deep, rumbling sound that seemed to vibrate through the floor, filling the tiny space.
In a flash of insight, Tina shrank her stature, trying to appear as non-threatening as possible.
