Turning that idea into reality was easier said than done. Most people who build tiny houses place them on trailers and leave them in one location for years. Jude wanted something very different. She wanted a home that could travel. Not just occasionally. Whenever she felt like it. So instead of designing a tiny house around a trailer, she built it on the back of a truck. From the outside, the concept seems almost too simple. A truck carries a house. But the more you look at it, the more you realize how much thought went into the design.
The truck doesn’t just move the house from place to place. It also solves several storage problems at the same time. Equipment, tools, outdoor gear, and all the little things that usually clutter a living space can be stored separately, freeing up room inside the home itself. That extra flexibility allowed Jude to focus on what mattered most: Making the interior feel like a real home instead of a vehicle.
And that’s where things start getting interesting. Because despite being built on the back of a truck, the inside feels nothing like a caravan.
