Fisherman Found Metal Balls in Trap, Took Them to Shop and Expert Screamed!

Randy winced at the deep gouge left in the wood, astonished by the sheer density of the sphere. He picked it up with both hands, calculating its weight at nearly three pounds. Standing alone on the swaying deck, he figured they had to be old iron cannonballs or ballast shot from an ancient shipwreck, buried for centuries until his trap scooped them up.

Rather than tossing the heavy junk back into the water, Randy hauled a sturdy wooden box from the cabin. Struggling against the weight, he loaded seven of the heavy metal spheres into the box, his back aching with the effort. He decided to leave the remaining five wedged in the corner of the deck for another trip, unable to carry all twelve off the boat at once.

By the time the Sea Wasp docked, the sky had turned a dark, bruised violet. Randy loaded the heavy box into his truck and drove straight to his lonely coastal workshop. The air inside smelled of motor oil and salt. He set the box under a single bright lamp, eager to clean off the ocean crust and see what kind of valuable artifacts he had pulled from the deep channel.
