It was late at night when Mark noticed that Max, his puppy, wasn’t inside. He’d been dozing on the couch, watching some TV, when he realized the house was eerily quiet. Max was usually curled up at his feet, but tonight, he was nowhere to be found.
Anxiety crept in. He grabbed a flashlight and stepped outside, calling his name. “Max!” he shouted, his voice cutting through the still night air. His eyes scanned the yard, but he was nowhere in sight.
Feeling more anxious by the second, Mark went back inside, his thoughts racing. He had to find him. Then, an idea struck him. He went straight to his computer and pulled up the security camera footage from the yard. Maybe it would give him some answers.
