Fisherman Thought He Caught An Orange Shark — Expert Turns Pale When He Notices This

Realizing no one would ever believe his story without proof, Mike locked the reel with one hand and reached frantically into his pocket for his smartphone. He leaned over the boat’s gunwale, extending his phone to record a close-up video of the incredible orange beast thrashing beside the hull.

The creature’s gills flared as it broke the surface, its brilliant skin wet and glistening in the morning light. But just as Mike pressed the record button, the creature let out a powerful, explosive slap of its tail. Water sprayed across Mike’s face, momentarily blinding him. The violent shift in weight snapped the thick leader line like a thread. 

With one final, energetic thrash, the massive orange creature dived steeply, vanishing into the murky depths below. Mike slumped back onto his seat, gasping for air, staring down at the empty water and his dripping phone.
