The more George looked at the creature, the more he sensed something incongruous. It was a feeling he couldn’t shake off. The thick fur, the wild look in the eyes—all pointed towards something unusual. While the answers eluded him for now, he was certain he had seen such traits somewhere before. But where?
Despite his overwhelming confusion and curiosity, George couldn’t bear the sight in front of him. The little creature was clearly in pain. Each attempt it made to stand was futile; it would try to stand up, only to fall back down, letting out soft whimpers. George knew he had to act fast to save its life.
