Winter settled over the farm, covering it in a white blanket of snow that concealed any remnants of the events from the previous summer. As George made his way through the barn, attending to the animals on cold mornings, his thoughts drifted to Luna, wondering if she was warm wherever she might be. He envisioned her thriving on a distant pasture, unaware of how deeply he missed her.
As the seasons changed and life carried on, George also tried to move on and engage himself in his farm work, trying to keep thoughts of Luna at the back of his mind.
