These weren’t ordinary barn finds. Crammed into the dim, cluttered garage were two Ferrari 308 GTBs and a DeLorean DMC-12 — a lineup that looks like it was lifted straight from a collector’s fantasy. The scene felt frozen in time, as if someone pressed pause in 1990 and simply walked away.
But as with many barn finds, this discovery carried a heartbreaking story. The cars belonged to a devoted enthusiast whose life changed dramatically after a serious motorcycle accident left him partially paralyzed. Despite his injuries, he refused to abandon his passion. He painstakingly taught himself to drive the heavy manual gearboxes using only his left hand, sheer determination keeping his dream alive. As his health declined, the cars eventually became impossible to operate. He never found the strength to sell them, clinging to the hope that one day he might sit behind the wheel again. After his death, the family decided it was finally time to open the garage.
