In a blind, unadulterated fit of rage, the woman turned around, scrambled back into the passenger side of her car, and slid into the driver’s seat. She slammed the keys into the ignition, cranked the engine, and threw the car into reverse. The foreman, the truck driver, and the approaching police officer watched in absolute, paralyzed disbelief at what happened next.
The woman slammed on the gas. Her sedan roared backward, smashing directly into the heavy porta-potty. The impact knocked the plastic restroom completely over onto its side, spilling its contents across the pavement. But she wasn’t done. Desperate to escape, she shifted into drive, cut the steering wheel sharply to the right, and gunned the engine to try and mount the concrete curb to drive away on the sidewalk. Because her luxury sedan lacked ground clearance, the car made a horrific grinding noise as it got halfway over the curb, high-centering the frame.
The tires spun wildly in the air, smoking loudly. She was completely stuck, trapped on the concrete curb, screaming obscenities from inside her locked car.
