The inside of the cabin was exactly what they expected at first — quiet, dusty, and a little rough around the edges. Nothing about it immediately screamed hidden mystery or secret bunker. If anything, it just looked like an old place that had been left alone for too long. It felt like the kind of structure someone may have once used as a weekend retreat or hunting cabin before eventually abandoning it to the woods.
That only made them more comfortable poking around. They started looking through the space the way anyone would when imagining what it could become. A little cleanup here. Maybe some lights. Maybe a couch or a few chairs. One of those random hidden spots that somehow ends up becoming a perfect little escape from normal life. For a moment, it really did feel like that was all this place was.
