Wolfdogs are a cross between domestic dogs and wolves. Although they can be intelligent and loyal, they retain many wild instincts, which makes their behavior unpredictable compared to fully domesticated dogs. They often have trouble with typical pet situations and can pose a safety risk if not properly managed.

Why they are banned: Wolfdogs can be unpredictable and highly territorial, and are difficult to train or socialize like normal pet breeds. Where they are banned: Wolfdogs are banned or heavily restricted in many U.S. states (such as New York and Alaska) as well as in several European countries.
