This woman turned an airplane into her home and the inside looks pretty special

Innovative plan

Since her youth, Naomi Campbell has been drawn to tinkering with old objects and crafting new creations. Her original vision for the land was to build a home fashioned from various freighters. However, after learning about Joanne Ussery, a Mississippi hairdresser who transformed a Boeing 727 into a home.

Naomi was inspired to alter her plans. Ussery’s innovative approach prompted Naomi, now in her 30s, to reconsider and adapt her own vision for the unique home.

Boeing 727

In 1999, Naomi Campbell made the decision to purchase a Boeing 727 aircraft from Olympic Airways for a substantial $100,000. Upon acquiring the plane, she faced the challenge of transporting the massive vehicle to her forest property in Oregon. Importing it from Athens, Greece, proved to be a logistical issue, accumulating transportation costs of approximately $120,000. Despite the total cost of $220,000, Naomi believed the plane was worth every penny.
