The bedroom is tucked deep into the structure, where the ice is thickest and quietest. The bed is raised on wooden beams, surrounded by handmade shelves and soft lighting.
James says he sleeps better here than anywhere else. “It’s like being inside a snow globe,” he jokes.
He even installed a small bathroom with running water, thanks to melted ice collected in a filtration tank outside.
