It doesn’t seem to matter to the Mistretta family that their tree isn’t exactly the prettiest tree in all the land anymore. They place a lot of sentimental value on their tree and wouldn’t trade it for the world. So, how do they manage to keep their tree alive? “Food, water and repotting it,” is Joe Mistretta’s answer. We don’t know whether we would be able to do it, but we’re definitely in awe of it! Who knows – maybe the tree will last another 30 years.
