3. Feeling bloated
When you eat too much in a short period of time, chances are you’re going to feel bloated. Eating a lot of food very fast often means you’re not chewing enough, which in turns means you take in a lot of air. Plus, the food and drinks you’re consuming also cause gas.
You might experience nausea after Christmas dinner. The biggest culprit for this phenomenon is greasy food. Fat needs time to digest and that means your body has to ‘suffer’ from the food in your stomach for longer. Plus, fat slows down your digestion as well.
5. Restless feeling
If you overeat, you might start to experience a restless feeling. This is because there’s suddenly a lot more sugar in your body. This can cause you to feel rushed or give you heart palpitations and you might have trouble falling asleep.
