With these tips, grease stains will be a thing of the past

When you’re cooking it up in the kitchen or eating an elaborate dinner, chances are you might accidentally spill something greasy on your clothes. It can be difficult to clean grease stains, even if you try to rinse away the stain with water as quickly as possible or chuck it in the washing machine straight away. Luckily, there are a couple of tricks that will easily help you get rid of these stubborn stains!

These methods work wonders!

1. Toothpaste

Rub toothpaste into the stain and let it dry. Rinse away the toothpaste with cold water, but only do so when the paste has dried completely. Then, wash the item of clothing in the washing machine like you normally would.

2. White gas

Dab some white gas on the grease stain and then wash the item of clothing at the usual temperature in the washing machine. The stain will disappear completely. This method also works very well for old grease stains.

3. Dish soap

Apply some undiluted dish soap onto the grease stain and thoroughly rub the soap into the stain using a sponge or cloth. Don’t rinse the soap from the clothes, but deposit it in the washing machine straight away.

4. Semi-skimmed milk

Pour some semi-skimmed milk onto the stain and let this soak for about 15 minutes. Next, wash the item of clothing in the washing machine right away. The stain will disappear entirely!
