When you don’t clean your baking sheets regularly, the layers of grease and food residue will stick and become rock solid over time. It might seem difficult to clean, but if you follow the steps below the sheets will be clean again in no time. All you need is some salt!
Step 1: Cover the entire baking sheet with table salt. In the meantime, preheat your oven at 50 °C.
Step 2: Put the dirty sheet covered in salt in the preheated oven and let it sit there until the salt starts to get a light brown color.
Step 3: Pour the excess salt out of the baking sheet.
Step 4: Use a sturdy spatula (for example, a wooden one) to easily scrape off the remaining salt and the burnt food and grease.
