A lot of people consider doing the dishes to be one of the most tedious household chores. Some people are blessed with a dishwasher in their kitchen, but this machine often seems to have trouble removing all of the dirt from the dishes. That’s why it’s always good to have a couple of handy cleaning hacks up your sleeve. Find out how you’ll be able to get all of your dishes and utensils squeaky clean without using a dishwasher!

These cleaning hacks will make sure all of your kitchen utensils and dishes end up as clean as can be.

1. Oven dish

Food scraps caked onto an oven dish can be stubborn and difficult to remove. Scrubbing vigorously to get rid of these scraps and stains isn’t necessary at all, though. Fill the oven dish with warm water and leave it to soak for about two hours. You’ll notice the scraps will loosen and come off the dish afterwards and you’ll clean it in a jiffy. Your oven dish will look as good as new!

2. Bottles or jugs

A nice pitcher or jug of water can look pretty on the dinner table, but cleaning it afterwards can be a bit of a chore. It’s especially difficult to reach all of the nooks and crannies. Luckily, there’s a handy cleaning hack that will help you clean any bottle, jug or pitcher in no time. Fill the bottle with a bit of warm water, some uncooked rice and a drop of dish soap. Properly cover the top of the bottle and then shake it up and down a couple of times. The rice functions as a kind of scrub and will remove all of the dirt.
