This is why you should clean your showerhead with baking soda

Why baking soda?

Cleaning the showerhead with baking soda is the way to go. This is due to the basic qualities of baking soda. Because of this chemical property, it breaks down lime scale easily. If you want to make the shower head completely spotless, use baking soda’s best friend: vinegar. Vinegar, on the other hand, is very acidic, making the combination of the two ingredients the perfect cleaning agent for cleaning away deposits and other dirt.

How to start?

It’s time to get going! There are numerous methods on how to clean your showerhead with baking soda and vinegar. Many people have showerheads that can be taken off the wall and put in a bucket. Fill the bucket with 1/3 of a glass of baking soda and a glass of vinegar. The mixture will start bubbling which is exactly what we need to clean the showerhead. Make sure the showerhead is completely submerged in the mixture. Is the shower head fixed to the wall or ceiling? Then you can also fill a plastic bag with the same ratio of baking soda and vinegar. Then put the bag around the shower head, making sure that the mixture touches the shower head well. Tie it in place using a rubber band. Leave the showerhead in the bucket overnight or let the bag sit around the showerhead overnight. Rinse with warm water before use and the job is done!
