There is a hidden door in former Queen Elizabeth’s room, this is where it leads to

The hidden door

The cabinet and the wall give way when you pull a certain part, revealing a pair of doors. Queen Elizabeth uses this secret passageway on a daily basis, because it allows her to move between rooms quickly and covertly andshe doesn’t always want to bump into someone who wants something from her. Who knew that hidden doors were a thing in the real world instead of just being a Hollywood fantasy?

Buckingham Palace isn’t the only residence with sneaky hallways, though. In 2011, British journalist Fiona Bruce revealed a hatch hiding in one of the offices of Windsor Castle. This one dates all the way back to the Middle Ages when British troops relied on the trail to rush out if the castle was under siege.
